The Diagnostic Process

Discovery, Diagnosis, Delivery.

Discovery gathers the insight.

The PRIME Engine diagnoses it.

Delivery brings the answer to you, in person.

1 — Discovery

Discovery happens through a structured discussion that establishes how a product was launched — or how it's planned to launch.

PRIME Flow gathers this directly from the people who know it: supply, commercial, category, activation, and field sales, where a field team exists.

2 — Diagnosis

The PRIME Engine sees your product's flow across all three journeys — even before launch.

It takes what Discovery has gathered and reviews it against all 64 influence points — calculating how flow changes, and the percentage lost at each point along the way.

Those points are grouped into Focus Areas within a full diagnosis, showing clearly where flow is being lost, and where attention is needed.

Journey 1 always starts at full, unconstrained flow. Journey 2 and Journey 3 inherit whatever flow survives the journey before.

Each journey also matters in its own right. The diagnosis looks at each one in isolation, as well as with the flow it inherited, so you see what each journey lost on its own.

3 — Delivery

The Diagnosis is delivered in person — not emailed as a PDF and left for interpretation.

Every journey is reviewed, with the percentage of flow lost explained at each point. Every Focus Area is delivered by journey, with the calculation behind it presented alongside.

The result is a prioritised Focus Area plan. Flow recovered in Journey 1 benefits Journey 2 and Journey 3; priority follows where flow recovery reaches the consumer best.

After the presentation, with every question answered, you leave with the written Diagnosis to keep — clear Focus Areas showing where product flow can be improved.

Every Diagnosis comes with a full written report covering all three journeys

The PRIME Cycle — acting on what the Diagnostic reveals

Knowing where flow is being lost is only valuable if it leads to action.

The PRIME Cycle is an optional half-day facilitation workshop, available separately from the Diagnostic, that turns the findings into focused, sequenced activity across whichever journeys need it most.

The diagnostic provides the direction. The PRIME Cycle provides the structure — if and when you're ready to build the plan.
